Poems

Hope falters,

darkness pervades,

Watching it grow,

devouring the remains.

Oh tell me,

mirror on the wall,

What silently awaits,

at the end of the hall?

Endless torture,

searing pain,

Never to end

as I fade and wane.

Chalice empty,

bones broken and bent,

Hearts hollow,

souls shattered and spent,

Alone in the shade,

yearning for dawn,

Until I realize

the sun has long gone.
